In a time where trends move faster than ever, developing a clear sense of taste has become more valuable than following what’s current. “Taste over trends” is not about ignoring what’s happening in design—it’s about filtering it, selecting what resonates, and letting go of what doesn’t.
This visual diary is a collection of moments, materials, and compositions that feel intentional rather than temporary. There’s a common thread: spaces that don’t try too hard. Natural materials, balanced proportions, and a quiet confidence define them. Nothing feels excessive, yet everything feels considered.
What stands out is restraint. Instead of layering trends, these interiors rely on a few strong elements—texture, tone, and form—to create atmosphere. A single material used well often has more impact than multiple competing ideas. It’s about clarity, not complexity.
Taste is built over time. It comes from observation, from editing, from understanding what feels right beyond what is popular. These references reflect that process—an evolving point of view rather than a fixed style.
Because in the end, trends fade. Taste stays.
